Care & Repair
Sorellina covers all repairs within a year of purchase due to manufacturing defects. However, we determine the right to determine what is a manufacturing defect before making that call. We do not cover repairs for damage that is a result of improper care and use. See below for proper care of your piece. We also do not cover repairs for normal ware and tear. In these cases, we would be happy to repair at a fee.
Please email orders@sorellinanyc.com to inquire and include a photo and explanation of the issue.

18k Gold Care
18k gold is naturally tarnish resistant, but can lose luster over time. To maintain shine, routinely wipe your jewelry with a very soft cloth.
To clean your jewelry, soak it in warm water with a little diluted dish soap and use a soft-bristle toothbrush to remove any dirt.
After cleaning, pat-dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.

Black Rhodium Care
Like any added finish, it will fade over time and with wear, especially in areas that come into consistent contact with your skin.
Remove before showering, swimming or washing your hands.

Emerald Care
Emeralds are a softer, more delicate stone. Please handle with care.
To clean your jewelry, use water with a small amount of diluted dish soap. Wipe clean with a soft cloth.
If needed, remove dirt around and behind the stone using a soft-bristle toothbrush.
Always remove before showering, washing your hands, and exercising.

Diamonds & Other Translucent Gemstone Care
(such as topaz, sapphire, or citrine)
To clean your jewelry, soak it in a bowl of water with a small amount of diluted dish soap.
If needed, remove dirt around and behind the stone using a soft-bristle toothbrush.
Place jewelry in a strainer and rinse before thoroughly drying with a soft, lint-free cloth.

Opaque Gemstones Care
(such as opal, malachite, and lapis lazuli)
Never use an ultrasonic cleaner or cleaning chemicals such as bleach or ammonia on opaque gemstones.
Opaque gemstones should only be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
Please remove jewelry before exercising or coming in contact with water, like showering or washing your hands.
Handle and store with care. Avoid impact with hard surfaces and wear your piece with care.

Pearl Care
The best way to maintain your pearls’ luster is to wear them often. The body’s natural oils help maintain their beauty.
Remove your jewelry before exercising.
Gently wipe pearls with a slightly damp cloth after wearing them.
Wash your pearls periodically with mild soap and a soft cloth. Rinse them in clean water and wrap them with a thin, damp cloth to dry them.
Never wash pearls with an ultrasonic cleaner.

Turquoise Care
Please keep turquoise away from chemicals like those in perfumes, household cleaners, and chlorine.
Remove jewelry before swimming, showering, washing your hands, and exercising.
Turquoise is a softer stone, so avoid impact with hard surfaces and wear your piece with care.
